In a recent interview, Arizona journalism legend John Hook, from Fox 10, sat down with our boy, Jake Plummer, to talk about the red-hot Sun Devils of Arizona State University (ASU).
As the NCAA college football playoffs are about to start, they reminisce about the Sun Devils' remarkable 1996 season, when Jake quarterbacked the team to an undefeated regular season and a Rose Bowl appearance.
Of course, they talk about the current ASU Sun Devil team, Jake's relationship with them adn their coach, and his advice for them as they prepare for their quarterfinal match-up against either Texas or Clemson in the Peach Bowl on New Year's Day.
It took us years to build to that '96 team. We had a core group of guys playing together for four years. What they're doing now, in such a short amount of time, with all these guys coming from the portal, tip your hat to the coaching staff. I commend them for building that...
